Our sweet boys light up our lives. This shoot was hilarious....we finally had to put them in the ugly chair and give them a messy sucker...I didn't get many smiles but still got some precious ones....

The best part of the trip was having a girls weekend. I love these ladies and am grateful that put up with all my craziness! We had so much fun giggling and having having girl talk...and sleeping!! Yay for a break!

A few years back a met a local photographer at a convention here in the valley. http://www.sarahgoodmanphotography.com/ I was a little starstruck because I had been a fan of her work and a follower of her blog for a while.
Well this sweet lady allowed my giddy self to come along on a journey. She started a local photography group where we share oodles of info, and support each other...I feel so lucky to have them as my friends as supporters. They have helped my mold and shape my little "hobby" into a profression.
At this past meeting we had the chance to photography a budding young model. What fun that was! At the end of our meeting my friend http://bridgettemarie.com/blog/set up a photobooth for us to take a few pictures. It was RIOT! These gals are truly funny. I feel so blessed to take part in such a talented group of people.

You might recoginize this amazing little family. Sweet baby "G" is here and oh so adorable. Having a newborn in your home is such a precious special time and I love going to client's home and being apart of it.

On a personal note it has been a rough week at the Davis house. My computer got a virus and lost many files. I cried and cried like someone died....My new goal is to backup at least once a week and burn discs. Never again will I let this happen.
Also my new website that I have been working so diligently on was Hacked.....thankfully all has been returned to normal and it should be up and running soon...

This girl has been my friend for over 10 years. When my girls were born I wanted to get an SLR but didn't know what kind to get. This sweet friend had a nice one so I bought one just like it. A Nikon d70. Since then we helped each other with every detail from lenses, to props, to websites.
I love this girl like a sister and jumped at the chance to photograph her extended family. Her brother had recently returned from a 2 year mission for the LDS church, and everyone was together for the holidays.
What a fun time at an awesome Orange grove this time....can you tell I love groves? I wish I had an apple orchard to shoot at next.....
I couldn't have done this with out you friend!

A few days ago I met with a sweet extended family. I love extended families. This family was gathered together for the Holidays and it was wonderful to watch their family dynamic. Here is a quick look into this session.

What a great year it has been. Personally full of ups and downs, (Birthing some big babies, adjusting to 4 kids and trying to be patient) and profressionally full of excitment and promise. Things are in the works for a new business next year...I can't wait to show you what I have been working on. Thanks go to my sweet family and friends for their support in my new adventure. I can't wait!
This is my last session of the year...another awesome family. Our dear friends. We love having dinner together on Sundays, and playing card games. Love you guys...

When my honey and I bought our first home 5 years ago we met our awesome neighbors the Zito's. They have been such a blessing to us we have loved and appriciated their friendship...I love the colors in these don't you?

It has been so fun to watch their kiddos grow up. Their 2nd daughter was just 3 when we met....

And what happens to a 3 year old at the end of the shoot? He doesn't want to take pictures anymore...cute little guy.

This is my beautiful sister and her sweet family. As we drove around our hometown looking for spots to shoot at....we came upon this old abanonded house. I love old run down buildings and think that it adds character to the photos. Her sweet kiddos did perfect and in 30 minutes we got some amazing pictures...love you sis.

Oh and I have decided to start shooting full time with the New Year...I am going to officially start a little photography business! Be on the look out for a new logo, a new website and more beautiful images of beautiful people!

I can't stop taking pictures! I have such beautiful family and close friends with adorable children. I have not overdone it this year which has been wonderful. Someday I hope to be confident enough in my work to be in business and be able to handle the demands of running a business. Until then, I love learning and practicing on some stunning loved ones. Keep your eyes peeled for a few more sessions on the way....

This is my dear friend and her sweet family. She and I met when I was a teacher. It seems like eons ago...we stayed close through the years and if I have a medical question I ask my cute friend Nurse Jody. Her little daughter "A" is the sweetest girl. I am not lying...so go with the flow...don't you love her sweet curls?

Let me tell you why. Not only is this gorgeous family of 8 related to me, they made a big choice years ago to have my husband come and live with them. About 7 years ago my husband on a path back to happiness and was having a hard time progressing in the small town that he lived in. His kind brother and gracious sister-in-law offered their home and helped him regain the strength to live on. I will forever be grateful to them and their helping him, because without them I would not have him in my life.
They are wonderful parents and are a blast at Sunday dinners.....I am so glad we took these! I love you guys!

I have been dying to get a baby in this pose for months and sweet baby "O" curled right up and did it! I giggled when it happened!

This little lady's mother and I have been friends for 20+years. She is an amazing woman and as a gift we shot some pictures of her precious girl on Sunday.
I am still editing away at my brother and sister in laws wedding and am excited to edit the rest of this session.

Hey everyone....I know that I have some friends that don't have the family blog, so I wanted to share our great news. We had our twin boys on March 11, 2009 at 7:44 and 7:45 am.
We named them Clark and Grant. Here they are with their big sisters......be on the lookout for some awesome new pics of them. My fingers are itching already to take some pictures of them. I need to heal from my c-section though. Thanks for all the support and prayers!

My sister-in-laws house has the most amazing light so this session was a breeze besides the fact that I am GINORMOUS and can't move very well.

I bought some cheesecloth and wanted to try it out...it probably would be better if he was sleeping.

Update on me...32 weeks and still hanging in there. Just 4-6 more weeks until we get to meet the boys! I can't wait!

This is my amazing friend and super mom to Quads. She is such an inspiration to me and has such a great outlook on life and mothering multiples. We get together often and I was so excited to take her little families pics this year. Her 'babies' are 18 months and are really the best kids ever. However at this shoot their was alot going on and some of them got a little overwhelmed. Hence all the lap sitting and holding. But we got some great ones and that's all that matters. Shooting a client in the middle of the day and going to downtown Chandler. I try not to have my shoots be in the middle of the day because of lighting but it worked out great for this shoot. And I now love downtown Chandler.
Meet the "K" family...the little one would not look at me and smile to save my life. I tried all my tricks. But despite it all we got some keepers.

This was one of the last shots of the day....with her siblings.

Speaking of siblings, we gave little one a break and I shot some of her beautiful sister and brother.

When I fall asleep I night I think about pictures. Pictures I want to take, pictures I have seen, how to edit pictures....you get the idea. I have had this in my head forever and my friend Tia and her family helped my dream come true!

That what's this couple had!! During some E-sessions it's hard to get the couples to do anything but just stand there and smile...not these guys! I had more interaction photos then I did looking ones! And I love it!!! They were both really hilarious and I was laughing so hard my cheeks hurt....Thank A & M for the awesome time! I have been able to photograph this cute family for 3 years in a row now. It has been great to get to know them and sweet personalities. They believed in me when I was just starting out and have given me the chance every year.

Since it is so hot outisde we opted to do this session in their home. We tried to take a few outisde at the end but the kiddos were done! We had a great time and the little ones did awesome! I adore the family ones on their bed....cute huh! Thanks for a great time Pam!

Check out this sweet 3 year old. She was a little shy at first but warmed up to me by the end. We started out by playing and she showed me her toys....

We then went out into the backyard for just a brief moment...

I coaxed her over to the door to sit in her chair...

Aren't you just in love?? This sweet dog wanted very much to be apart of the session. He kept licking my hand and trying to give me a shake....I just love this picture!

Here's another wedding I did a few weeks ago....it was a quick shoot, only about 1 hour total. This sweet bride and groom were just so cute and unique. I tried to capture some shots that would portray their personalities.

In other news, I have now raised my praises they are new on the sidebar. Thanks to all of those who have supported me in this.
And I just found out that we are pregnant again so I will be taking a maternity leave from Feb.2009-until I start getting in the groove with 3 kids!

And for all you Gila Valley folk....just so we can start planning, I will be coming down to Thatcher from October 17-24th and I will be doing shoots down there. Please call or email so we can get you a spot!

As a side note, one of the biggest compliments that you can give a photographer is to have thier pictures all over the walls of your home. These are my friends from Community College way back in the day.....almost 9 years ago. They are such an awesome couple and make the cutest babies. Meet Miss Clara....it took me a while to get over there to meet her, But I am sure glad I did. She is 2 months of pure cuteness. Thanks Briauna for a great time....she is just perfect!

I had the great opportunity to go and take my friends pictures outside the temple after her little family was sealed. It was high noon and very hot but we tried to be quick. And her kiddos cooperated so well!
This family has had many trials in the past few years and to see them here is such a blessing. They are amazing examples to me and I'm so glad I was able to be there. Thanks Roxanne!

I had the great chance to go to this little man's house the other day to take his One year old pics. Mr R. is so very sweet and super go with the flow. When I first walked in I saw this little dog and just had to take some pictures with it.

One of the main reasons why I went there is because his Mom is 8 months preggo with little sister! Who wants to go anywhere in this heat with a 1 year old?

One out in the garage with the backdrop....he just wanted to go and play!

Meet sweet A....she started out quite shy and somber....but we still got some great expressions.

Her mom and I went to H.S. together, it was great to see her and catch up.

Then she started to warm up. Her dad was tickling her with his foot....

We then went to the Lost Dutchman State park and carried this chair onto the trail to get amazing pictures like these.....

Check out these summer cuties! I love their shades, their cute outfits and best of all their ADORABLE faces! They were such troopers and I had a great time with them. This is the only word to describe this shoot. Amazing weather, amazing backdrop, and the most easy going kid ever! I had such a blast with my old roomie and her little family. She grew up in Arizona and truly appriciates the splendor of the desert.We went out the the Lost Dutchman Mine and State Park. Arizona sure is beautiful! This site is only about 15 minutes away from my house too. Lucky me! Hope you enjoy them Jen! I should be done in the next few days!
